Dehradun, July 4, 2024. Engineer Lalit Shaurya, who has been running the “Mobile Nahi, Pustak Do” campaign for the past decade, had the second edition of his book “Swachhata Ke Sipahi” unveiled by Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Ritu Khanduri Bhushan at her official residence R1, Yamuna Colony, Dehradun.
This book launch event was organized under the auspices of the Himalayan Heritage Society. This is the thirteenth book by author Engineer Lalit Shaurya. He has previously written 12 books for children.
While unveiling the book, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought cleanliness as a campaign to every citizen since 2014. Today, cleanliness rankings are conducted in every city, municipal corporation, municipal council, and village across the country, and there is competition to come first in these rankings. Cleanliness is a habit. This book will be very useful for children as it also explains the identification of dustbins. Author Engineer Lalit Shaurya is young, and his effort is commendable. He is aware of social responsibilities. The topics mentioned in the contents of the book are inspiring. Surely, the commendable effort of the author will inspire the new generation.
In addition, activist Hemchandra Saklani presented some of his well-known works (books) to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Ritu Khanduri Bhushan. Mrs. Khanduri congratulated and extended her best wishes to Saklani for receiving national and international recognition for his numerous published books.
On this occasion, Vinod Khanduri, State President of the Prime Minister’s Public Welfare Scheme Committee, Rajnish Kaunswal, Secretary of the Himalayan Heritage Society, author Engineer Lalit Shaurya, and Bharat Chauhan were present.
